Kirsteen Cowling - Eurovangelism
I accepted Jesus as my Lord and saviour in 1990 and have been a member at Findlay since I first came to Glasgow in 1991. God very quickly challenged me in my walk with Him about world mission and my willingness to go wherever He led. I spent several years in preparation, completing my children's nurse training, undertaking an applied theology degree and participating in several short term mission trips to Eastern Europe (pushing doors). In 1999 I entered into full time Christian service in Romania. I spent 7yrs working alongside dedicated Romanian Christian professionals at Emanuel Hospice, helping them to develop their palliative care services to include terminally ill children. Since my return to Scotland in 2006 I have been the Scottish representative of Eurovangelism, sharing my passion for God’s mission and the desperate needs of vulnerable people living on our own doorstep in Europe.
Eurovangelism
Since 1965 Eurovangelism has worked with Churches, Organisations and individuals in Europe as they seek to make Christ known through their words and actions. 
Most of our work is through national partners living in the poorer countries of Eastern Europe. They work hard developing programmes to meet the practical, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people living in their countries.
Many of these countries have suffered as a result of wars, natural disasters, and very poor economic conditions and they need our help.
Through our partners we help: refugees, orphaned and abandoned children, very poor families, elderly people, ethnic minorities, single parent families, terminally ill adults/children and those with physical and/or mental disabilities. We work together with Christians living in these countries to develop short term and long term projects which show God's love through words and actions.
