What to Expect

Findlay Church is made up of a group of ordinary people who face the daily challenges of life, just the same as everybody else. Our main meetings take place each Sunday at 11am and 6.30pm. During these services we sing to God, pray and hear from the Bible.

We welcome families to our services. In the 11am service, activities are provided for children and teenagers and a crèche facility for children up to 3 years. To register a child, look out for the registration desk as you come in the main corridor or ask member of the welcome team. Children will usually be present for the first couple of songs and then go off for their own activities.

The Bible teaching is provided by our pastor. We normally teach through whole books of the Bible a bit at a time but we’ll sometimes teach through a topic from the Bible or a big picture theme. We hope you will find the teaching relevant, applicable and rooted in God’s Word.

The music will be led by one of our bands and reflects the diversity within our congregation. The songs that we sing are a blend of modern worship songs and traditional hymns.

As a Church we welcome a diversity of people. We hope that you will find us to be a friendly and caring fellowship. Our services reflect the fact that we seek to be an active community, engaged in living for Jesus not just on a Sunday but during the week also.

Come as you are! Dress is generally informal and casual but if you like to dress up for a Sunday, you’re welcome too.
